Our story
Culture
moves people.
Mestre Rony Costa founded Capoeira Volta Ao Mundo in 1996 and has been teaching capoeira in Florida since 1998.
Capoeira brings martial art, dance, music, and continuous movement together. Rooted in the history of Afro-Brazilian communities, it is practiced with other people, through movement and rhythm.
Today, CapoVAM brings together adults, children, and families. The CapoKids programs extend that community through preschool, after-school activities, and summer camps.
